Nanotechnology is a multidisciplinary science with roots in most of the traditional scientific disciplines. This is reflected by the variety of research related to nanoscience and nanotechnology at NTNU. It is also to a large extent a cross disciplinary science, since the traditional disciplines tend to converge at the nanoscale.
